Start from the Icaro in the direction of Panorama, then you proceed to the Saltner hut up to Rio Freddo (1,750 m) in the Tschapit area, where you can have a last refresh before reaching the goal. From there the excursion continues along the Tourist path, which guides you on comfortable turns first through hills covered with small mountain pines and afterwards through bare slopes where edelweiss grows, until the border of the large Sciliar plateau up to the Bolzano hut (2,457 m, possibility of having a break). After that, you proceed backwards on the path number 4 to the Alpe di Tires hut (2,440 m) and further through the Forcella dei Denti di Terra Rossa (2,499 m) you will arrive back to the Hotel Icaro.
