With the public transportation you reach Saltria and then with the Florian lift you go up to the Williams hut where the hike starts. After approximately 1 hour you arrive to the Sasso Piatto hut (2,300 m). Then you proceed over grassland characterized by a rough climate, where many coloured flowers of different species grow. It will be possible to observe the luxurious flora, the lush meadows, occasionally a marmot, maybe even a chamois and the crossing from alp meadow to rocky terrain. After 30 minutes you arrive to the entrance of the Sasso Piatto climb and after 2 further hours the peak. The sensation on top is awesome, a phenomenal 360° view on the Dolomites.
